meeting 4
we have produced our film company logo, to do this we used Live Type. as we had never used this program before we experimented with all the different effects, fonts, objects and textures. our film is going to be under the genre of thriller/mystery, we decided to make it a dark, scary background with bright lettering. the effect we used for the text to come up was quite slow to build suspense before the film starts.
we also started our powerpoint about our pitch. we have included the plot, setting, characters, costume, lighting, camera work and sound.

se7en title sequence analysis
uses a metronome to show the audience that h is an organized person, that doesn't like chaos or violence so he uses a metronome to keep a constant beat. this is a contrast to his everyday life as he is a detective in new york. the title sequence is a black background with white writing, showing a sinister tone. it also flashes clips of what the audience might think is a criminal of him cutting off his finger prints, the editing is cut very jumpy and flickers, to maybe show the criminals state of mind, and to disorientate the audience. there is a drop of blood to show there will be death or murder in the film. there is a god reference that might show that there will be religious content.
